2008 Mystery Lake Team Tournaments
$50 entry fee + $10 big bass pot per event = 100% payback
Tournaments limited to 15 teams – Enter Early!!
Eligible Lakes: Minnewaska, Reno, Green, Norway, Osakis, Mary (by Alex), Koronis, Crow River (New London), Horseshoe Chain, Sauk. There will be 4 tournaments. Note:lakes may be drawn more than once.
Register early!! You must be registered and paid before the time of the lake drawing in order to fish.
Lake will be chosen by random draw at 6:00 pm the night before the tournament. Check the club website www.wcmnbassmasters.org or call the Tournament Director to find out the lake and access to meet at. No prefishing after the lake is drawn.
We will meet at the lake access in time for a 6:30 am rules meeting. Starting order will be drawn that morning. Off limit waters will be announced. Fishing time will be from approximately 7:00 am until 1:00 pm.
Payout based on number of teams. 1-5 boats - 1 place – 100%; 6-10 boats – 2 places – 70%/30% ; 11-15 boats – 3 places – 65%/25%/15%. Tie breaker is biggest fish.
Big Bass Pot – 1-10 boats – 100%; 11-15 boats – 2 places – 70%/30%
Team of the Year Standings – there will be an optional $50 pot for the Team of the Year standings. Standings will be based on points earned in head to head competition with other standings participants.
Five (5) fish limit – 12 inch minimum size – largemouth & smallmouth bass only. Nets are permitted. Life vest required to be worn when combustion engine is running. No trolling is allowed.
Penalties: Dead fish – 4 oz penalty. Short fish – 1 lb plus loss of fish. Late to weigh-in is disqualification.
If there are any protests, boat nos. 1 – 3 – 5 will serve as the tournament committee to assist the Tournament Director in reaching a decision.
